On October 11, Dr. Shen Hao, Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) of Fosun Kite Biotechnology Co., Ltd., and Ju Suyang, Deputy Director of Fosun Strategic Investment Center, visited Shenzhen Cell Valley for exchange. Dr. Shi Yuanyuan, Chairman of Shenzhen Cell Valley; Zhao Lijun, Head of R&D; and Sun Rui, Head of Marketing, extended a warm welcome and held symposium discussions to jointly explore cooperation and development.

Led by Dr. Shi Yuanyuan, the Fosun Kite leadership team toured Shenzhen Cell Valley's smart exhibition hall, GMP-grade production workshops, and R&D laboratories, gaining an in-depth understanding of the company's development, technical service advantages, and standardized industry chain layout.

During the symposium, the two parties shared updates on recent industry developments and their respective R&D and production implementation. They reached a high degree of consensus on the principle that "R&D and production pipelines based on retroviral vectors represent the prevailing trend in cell therapy." Shi Yuanyuan stated that Shenzhen Cell Valley, as the only CRO/CDMO one-stop outsourcing service provider in China with industrial-grade retroviral vector technology (including the PackRV-SS system), can provide clients with full-process services spanning vector construction, viral vector preparation, cell product preparation, and IIT/IND/NDA application support—helping clients get ahead in the market and shorten time to market. The company has now established multi-regional industrial linkages, leveraging mature emerging technologies and comprehensive services to support its clients.

Dr. Shen Hao highly praised Shenzhen Cell Valley's deep technical foundation and platform layout thinking. He stated that Fosun Kite would work closely with Shenzhen Cell Valley on IND applications for new pipelines, and join forces in talent cultivation and early-stage R&D to jointly enhance competitiveness across the retroviral upstream and downstream industry chain. This would support the validation, translation, advancement, and application of research achievements in the cell therapy field, and help build an ecosystem of leading cell therapy enterprises in Shenzhen.
